The 9-hole course was built by the Cemadis Company which carried out much of the urbanization of the Pineta of Arenzano.
The golf course was designed by the English architect Don Harradine.
Don Harradine designed and built his first golf course in Switzerland in the year 1929 and continued an illustrious career until his retirement into private life in the mid-1980s.
One of Harradine’s specialities was the design and construction of golf courses in very limited areas.
At the end of the 60s, the Golf Club was affiliated with the F.I.G and consequently, it was also open to players from other clubs.
The suggestive location on the Arenzano plateau in the private area of “La Pineta” means that the 9 holes of the course overlook the Ligurian Gulf on one side and the Monte Beigua area on the other, creating a favourable climatic situation for the use of the golf course over the four seasons, especially in winter and summer.
